In stock items generally take 4-5 business days to be delivered. 

If you are for any reason not 100% happy with the product you have received, please email us within 15 days of receiving your order at info@vanhides.com. Please pack the unused product properly in the original box it was shipped in and ship it back to us. Once we receive the product, we will inspect it and if the product is unused and in its original condition, we will issue a full refund within 48 hours of receiving the return. You will receive your refund notification immediately but please allow to 7-10 business days for the refund to appear on your card statement.

Please note that exchange items are final sale.

The backside is natural suede and it is naturally non slip.

No rug pads are required for our Cowhide Rugs.

The majority of our clients have told us that their dogs simply enjoy to lay comfortably on their cowhides, despite the fact that that we are not able to guarantee against chewing. On our Testimonials page, you can view various pictures of our customers' rooms where their adorable dogs are contentedly relaxing on cowhide rugs.

All varieties of leather are naturally occurring by-products of the beef industry. We under NO circumstances kill animals for their skins! The amount of animals killed has no effect on how much leather is produced, in whatever form. Due to the demand for beef being much higher than that for leather, millions of cow hides are wasted every year. In order to create a useful product, we are just using the skins that would otherwise be thrown away as waste.

Our gorgeous and natural cowhides are incredibly easy to maintain. These rugs simply do not hold dust and dirt as other typical carpets do. Shake or vacuum it regularly, being careful to clean it in the direction of the hairs.

Simply, use a clean towel and light pressure to absorb any spilled liquid, then clean the surface with warm soapy water. Blot to dry. To keep the hair soft and shiny, brush it along the direction of the follicles.

Our cowhide products include suede backs, which are naturally non-slip. We do not advise using a rug pad.

Please refrain from beating the rug as this can harm it.

Your new beautiful cowhide rug will last many years if treated with care. 

Within a few days, the folds and wrinkles disappear naturally. If some regions are more resistant, you should dampen the hide's backside using a wet towel, roll it up, and then wait for it to dry. That will undoubtedly make it flatter.
